Mysterious Whispers
A series of cool and warm whites, recalling rustling leaves, but also the sound of fresh crusty snow when walking on it on a wintry day. The world seems so much quieter than usual and you can just hold still and wonder about a small ice crystal or a beautiful frozen leaf or petal. This theme is almost poetical and allows the creation of new shapes inspired by the wonders of nature.

Penumbra

When day fades into night
At the end of the day colours seem to fade. The sky turns from blue into red and shows different shades. Shapes and designs lose their sharpness due to shadows, they seem to fade into the twilight. Reds, blues and greens are used seperately next to one another or as a mix. The colour shift in glaze or the effect of woven checks contribute to the arising of beautiful continuous tones.

Shades of black, blue and purple
Before going to bed I love to make a long stroll alongside the lake. It seems as if the water, the dark leafless trees and the deep dark blue night are composed of thousands of shades of black, blue, petrol and dark purple. The innumerable amount of small wrinkles on the watersurface illuminated by the moon seem to be of pure gold. The design caused by all this is always in motion and of an elusive beauty.
